Beautiful garden, great location. Fantastic use of space and well equipped kitchen. Fab products in the bathrooms too. Really lovely little place.

Bedrooms have no curtains to block the early morning sun. Next door neighbours are very noisy with parties going on until 2am for two out of our five night stay…. and they have a dog that won’t be quiet! Covers for outdoor furniture / sun loungers needs to be washed or replaced.

This is our second visit to Rocco House. The location is fantastic, close to the restaurants, shops etc. The garden is a good size, it’s nice to have outside space especially with a plunge pool. It’s perfect for four occupants.

The kitchen is ok, but limited glasses (no champagne glasses).Not even salt and pepper, literally a cloth and a tea towel, one bin liner etc. I know this isn’t included but other houses I’ve stayed in are better equipped. The garden furniture hasn’t been updated since I stayed two years ago, there are ripped outdoor chairs that really shouldn’t still be there, the outdoor carpet/rugs are faded and ripped as is the wood sunscreen on top of the pagoda. It really needs a bit of maintenance and a change of furniture. It was gorgeous first time around but looking tired now.

Beautiful house in a perfect central location, just a couple of minutes from plentiful restaurants, bars and shops. Immaculately clean. More spacious than appears in pictures. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

Nothing. The pool wasn’t heated (it may have been an option but we didn’t enquire). Wasn’t a problem for us, but worth noting (enquiring about) if this is an issue for you.

Just a lovely house, superbly renovated with lots of good points and no bad. The garden is great, the cabin separated from the main house worked splendidly for our guests, and the facilities are plentiful and well-designed.

Nothing of note. We passed on a small point to the agents, who were happy to pass it along to the owner. Congratulations all round.

Great location, quiet, but close to great restaurants, our favourite was Gimnasio Clube de Tavira. And there were also easy walks around Tavira, which is beautiful. There is lots of space inside the property, good TV and Internet access.

The main bedroom blind was broken, as was the kitchen bin. We would have preferred proper shutters as it got very light in the morning. The pool was too small to swim in, it had shallow steps which you couldn’t swim over. The second bedroom + bathroom was in a separate building at the bottom of the garden which wasn’t explained in the listing. We were a bit anxious about the security deposit, using Swikly, but got our deposit returned about 2 hours after we left.

The garden, the decor, the location

This is only a very small niggle…The kitchen was quite small, not in size but the design meant it was tight between the island and worktop, therefore you didn’t feel inclined to use it.

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet. In Tavira war alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Garten ist eine wunderschöne Oase, man kann sich hier eine willkommene Auszeit nehmen. Die Einrichtung im Haus ist äußerst geschmackvoll.

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, das man für die Müllentsorgung € 20,00 zahlen sollte oder den Müll irgendwie selbst entsorgen muss.
