This was a cool experience, but we feel there are pods and locations in South Africa that offer better value for money.

There are three units on the property, positioned very close to one another. If you are expecting complete privacy, this may not be the ideal option. We arrived under the impression that we would be the only guests, only to find that the pods are right next to each other and visibility between units is unavoidable. Additionally, the air conditioning can only be used during certain hours and is not permitted from 4pm and all throughout the night. For the price per night, one would reasonably expect there to be no restrictions on air conditioning usage, particularly given the heat created by the glass roof, which results in a noticeable greenhouse effect.

The view from the pod is fantastic.

The temperature in this glass pod is uncomfortably high from 07h00 in the morning to 21h00 at night. Staying in the pods in summer is very uncomfortable due to the heat.
