No windows in the room and no net to keep insects outside while getting air in via the patio door.

Missed the hot tub experience

It was very close to the Bay Area so very easy to get to. Close to many beautiful not heavily populated beaches on the San Mateo coast. The king Lodge room that we stayed in was small but quite doable. Very nicely furnished newly renovated bathrooms. The fire pits at several locations were lovely in the evening. Walking on the trails on the property and overlooking the ocean at sunset more an extra bonus. We stayed in March so it was good value. I’m sure the price goes up significantly during the summer. The rooms came equipped with an espresso machine, which was not our preference and have no microwaves. Although they do have a small fridge. The restaurant was very reasonable for breakfast and pricey for us for dinner so we frequently bring our food and microwave it and that was not possible. Overall, it was a lovely getaway with Little to do other than enjoy the beauty.

We would have preferred a coffee machine in the room, not an espresso. And even a tiny microwave would’ve been good to have. There was access to one at the store. He just had a walk to the store to use it. The dining area is lovely. Great service. They were very minimal to us splitting a sandwich at dinner, but main courses are pretty pricey to be expected though.

Wonderful place, very relaxing and taken care of

Location was amazing. The property has great activities in and around. It is clean and is well set up overall. Great variety of accommodations. Value for money was great in the tent room I booked for my stay.

I don't think I have much to complain about. Perhaps some activities can be done on weekdays as well since they have most on weekends. Apart from that, everything was very good. Drinking water can be provided near main lodge.
