Carson City Plaza Hotel

They recently moved to a new building so it was just a very basic motel setup with a very small limited breakfast area. Fine for a quick one night stay but nothing special.

We booked a King Suite for two nights, which was spacious with good water pressure in the shower and great WiFi. Parking on site also great.

Kitchen. No utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots/pans, cups - nothing at all. Not even a bucket to get the ice. Spoke with the manager, who suggested I go to the local Dollar Shop to buy what I need. Interesting response! It's like providing a bathroom with no towels. We are travelling with our own provisions so we were VERY disappointed that we could not use the kitchen. Spoiled our stay, hence the low rating.

When we checked in Mike was behind the desk Very helpful, patient an polite with us l!!! The maintenance man helped get us ice from another building because the 1 at our building that what very nice of him Kudos to him He could have just pointed to the other building n said its upstairs but he didn't..

Wifi was basically none once u left the office to check in It was in n out man says its because its in the main building an that's why Ice Maker in the building we stayed at didn't work And beeping of construction trucks backing up 3:00am outside our door I realize that's the states thing but it still happens

Rooms very old for price

The place was being remodeled and it was a mess. The "breakfast" which is usually good was bad, no coffee before 7 AM, and it was in an unsafe area. My room had no curtains to speak of due to the remodel and people could just look into my room. When I had maintenance come up regarding the lack of curtains, nothing was done.

Comfortable and quiet and lady at front desk very friendly
