Jinsim House in Hongdea

Incredible location, 6 min walk to Hongdae station and right in Hongdae's main shopping and restaurant area. Even though so close to everything couldn't hear noise at night. The hot plate and pot/pan was so nice to have, also had oil and salt to use. The bed was comfortable and shower/ bathroom situation was pretty good too. Very comfortable for the price. Almost no qualms.

Could have look cleaner, there was lots of scratches and dents in the walls but only superficial stuff. Wish there was a few more hooks or shelves around too.

The location was excellent and an easy walk to areas of interest.

It was so noisy. Anyone who entered the hallway outside could be heard so loudly. Every footstep, every word, every door opening and closing. We didn't sleep well.

The room was too small. From the pictures, we were expecting bigger room. And I didn’t like that there was no shower curtain. It was so uncomfortable to shower. The shower and toilet were in the same little “room” and nothing separated the “shower” from the toilet. Also when showering the water would leak out of the door and we had to use a towel to stop the water from coming to the room.

a lot of toilet flies because I think there is a drainage room at the lower level of the stay I killed at least 4 toilet flies during the stay the room is pretty old and not very clean, a lot of stain and dirt but I know it is not a hotel and average homestay in Korea looks like that If you are a clean person, please go to a hotel

The location is the best, right in the walking area center of Hongdae. Its always busy 24/7 with restaurant, shopping.... It has everything you need ( washing machine, kitchen etc... )

- a little bit creepy at beginning, the building is old and there is no receptionist/security or anybody there, u have to check-in, out by urself... no lift. Not clean as they put the trash outside front the door everyday, smelly.... - the wall is thin, you hear everything around - the quality of the bed is so bad, my whole body get hurt... - if you easy going person and your budget is tight, this is good one. But if you need a good sleep, sensitive with cleaness and feel insecure to stay alone then this place is not for you. Not recommend if you stay with kids...
