Coastal Eco-Lodge with hottub Charleton Estate

It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. I didn't normally like hot tubs but this one is basically a big outdoor bath that you refill each time, so it was very clean. There are only 4 lodges and they are well spaced out so you didn't feel overlooked. There were a couple of board games there. The WiFi was excellent and we were able to stream films at night.

It could have been easier to get more wood for the log burner. There isn't any signage telling you where to go around the estate. However, it was easy to contact staff if you needed them.

The lodge was clean and well maintained. The location is nice and secluded for peaceful breaks but close enough to local attractions and facilities to take advantage of during the stay. The Staff maintaining the lodge were responsive and delivered excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Sleeps 6, would say the space is comfortable for 4.

Door unlocked with keys hanging up in side. Key safe to feel more secure would be better. Only found other bedrooom doors unlocked on second day! Appreciate I may have not realised that we would be in the “accessible “ lodge, thus the bathroom not what we expected. Settee and downstair bed rather soft. Windows not particularly clean and rather smudged. Notes on oven and microwave could be better. Logs for hot tub disappeared/stolen first night and therefore did not pursue matter in order to use hot tub . Clearer info prior to stay on exactly what “essentials” are provided would be helpful. Blinds for a bit of privacy to side living/kitchen areas to give the choice to use or not!

Gorgeous views, well equipped accommodation and helpful staff. We struggled to get the wood-burning hot tub going and the staff were really helpful bringing kindling and giving us a helping hand.
