Peibio at Llanfair Hall

The location was great. The property was enormous, with plenty of room for us all. Parking was easier and the views superb.

It needed TLC. The door to one of the kitchen cupboards fell off. The owner said there would be someone round to fix it but they didn't come. The spa bath didn't work, the jets were blocked and black mold came out when you filled the bath. the shower in the master suite, whilst powerful, never really got warm. The hot tub was ok, but it was more of a warm tub. The towels were clean but only one per person. We already knew this so took our own. There were a lot of little things, that needed attention, but nothing that spoilt our holiday.

The kitchen diner was dirty, it had not been swept, food still under the table and the oilcloth on the table was ripped and frayed and had not been cleaned. Toilet rolls ran out on the first day as they were end of rolls and no spares. Only one towel per person and they were old and scratchy. Kitchen not well stoked. 6 of cutlery which meant washing them between courses. Only 6 plates some chipped, only 6 mugs some chipped. Only four wine glasses and 3 plastic wine glasses scratched and cloudy. Parking a nightmare. My husband and I were hosting two couples as we were renewing our wedding vows nearby. I was deeply embarrassed at how bad the place was. At £200 per night I expected much better.

The business owner has either lost interest in their business and / or they are a lazy scruffy lower class people with no standards. The levels of repair and cleanliness were frankly discgracefull. The owners even have the cheek to upsell "extras" like pizza dough for the outside pizza oven, however the pizza oven was filthy and beyond repair. The hot tub was filthy and unuseable, the bins were left over flowing and immediatly visable upon entry to the property. Cobwebs, mould, dust and genreally grubby. The owner of this business should have mugged me of £200 and it would have been notably more pleasurable than staying in their property. It's such a shame becasue the potential of the property is endless. If i were booking.com I would disassociate myself with this property immediatly.

Excellent location. Lovely barn with spacious rooms, great hot tub. Great countryside views, lovely area outside for children to play. Would recommend the bath for families. Really enjoyed our stay and would return

Nothing. Only thing, and I’m nitpicking !! is perhaps as the the upstairs (twin) room is so spacious perhaps a double and single would be better then two single beds. Also no wine glasses in kitchen. But as I said these are small snags. We loved our stay and hope to stay again, thank you! A great place to stay for families. Loved it

Guest 1: The place has not been well maintained. The barn itself was grubby. Lots of cobwebs and dead flies on the windowsills. The furniture was mismatched and not in good condition. There was not enough crockery or cutlery for everyone to eat together. No hand towels in the bathrooms and only 1 tea towel provided. There were items from previous visitors left behind such as a packet of pears in the cupboard and a lighter in the garden. The hot tub didn't have a shelter like the other units, not a TV or even lights outside however we were lucky to have light evenings and good weather. The parking is limited and the grounds look very unkept. The pictures are clearly for a time gone by when this place was in a much better state. The owner is extremely difficult to get hold of and when you do not all that quick to help. We did hear the place is up for sale so maybe that's why they seem to care very little now. Guest 2 Unfortunately the barns interior was not up to our expectation - it was quite dirty, marks all around the walls, cobwebs everywhere, totally in need of attention. The kitchen facilities were very sparse, the crockery was all mismatched and not enough for 6 people - 3 forks 1 cereal bowl few wine glasses and no serving bowls. One small towel was provided per person, with 1/2 roll of toilet paper left in the bathroom; no extra towels were left to use with the hot tub. The hot tub itself was not very inviting, most jets not working, no nice pergola not even somewhere to put the lid which was extremely heavy to lift. After having a long busy day on Saturday we came back to find the electricity had been off all day due to a circuit issue and had to wait over an hour for an someone to reconnect. I note the property is up for sale, I presume therefore no attention will be paid the maintain the property any further which is a shame.

The property was beautiful, great barn conversion with huge amounts of space. Hot tub in the garden, great for watching the stars at night. Peaceful location!

A guide with info such as WiFi code and how to control the heating would have been helpful. Poor quality/old kitchen equipment such as pans, cutlery. Door to garden difficult to lock. Kitchen tap loose.

The barn was ideal for 7 of us. There is plenty of room for sitting for games or watching a film on the TV. Quiet, rural location. All everyday equipment supplied. The hot tub was a big hit with my grandson. Would definitely book again if returning to North Wales.

Downstairs ensuite unable to get hot water. Cobwebs in kitchen/diner on ceiling. Slats in downstairs bed not secure.

Very spacious, warm, and inviting. There was plenty of home comforts, and the furniture was very comfortable, especially loved the couch. It was also very intriguing to see the photograph of how the barn previously looked, before being converted into the place we stayed, greatly done.

The hottub wasn't protected from the elements, and a long walk from the back door would have been better with more protection from the wind. Therefore, we only managed to spend a little bit of time in there. Would of been great to spend more time in it.
