Brilliant location

Little information in the room about what was available in the cafe downstairs No windows in the room, just skylights.

Amazing value for money, lovely staff and everything in our room was immaculate. Exceeded our expectations thank you.

The staff worked out to sort out where we were staying and organised a taxi for us to have dinner where we had booked. The room we ended up in was roomy and newly updated.

We had booked 2 rooms at Redwell. A couple of days before we were contacted to say that booking.com had messed up and overbooked the accommodation. Our 2 rooms was only 1 room. We were moved to a different venue but this was an 8 minute drive away and had no catering. Would have preferred if this would have been explained to us properly before we got there so we knew what to expect and how to access the property. When we got to it one room was a double with a kitchen and the other was a double with a fridge which was annoyingly loud when it came on. We had no kettle so had to ask for one which was provided that night. There was a Quooker style tap in the kitchen but no instructions on how to use it and no access for those in the separate room. No shower gel provided and the shower in the main bedroom was broken and not really usable

Lovely location with beautiful countryside. Rooms were spotless and clean. Staff were hard working, polite and helpful. Didn't stay for breakfast but the evening meals are excellent. Great quality and generous portions. Very pleased that they had local real ales available that are well kept .

If you're struggling with mobility then access to the rooms up a flight of outdoor metal steps could be an issue. The walls are a bit thin and I was woken at 2.30am by the people in the next room constantly clicking their lights on and off. Our room had no view but had velux type windows x 2 which enabled light and fresh air in. The rooms are spacious and comfortable though. Well cleaned and furnished. Nice big comfy bed and fluffy pillows.

The location was perfect for the purpose of my visit, which was to visit family and friends in the are. I have stayed at the Redwell Inn several times, and have had evening meals or lunch there and it never disappoints.
