The property is located near everything you could need…grocery stores, pharmacy, etc.

The receptionist was not helpful and a bit rude. She was on her phone the entire time of our interaction. She seemed very unpleased to be at work. Had a roach running around the room.

Only stayed one night so can't say much other than it did the job, bed was comfortable and reasonable air con.

No plug sockets near the bed

Great location to spend the night if you miss the last ferries to the islands , close to shops and the pier. Friendly staff who helped organise us ferries and a taxi to the ferry terminal.

For a Night waiting for the Ferry or when (as we did) one misses the last ferry, it’s perfect. The beds were enormous and very comfortable and the rooms very spacious! Great value for money.

The bathroom is not very clean and there is some mold here and there. Also, the shower doesn’t have hot water.

For a night stay in La Ceiba before or after going to La Utila Island this is the perfect place ! get a taxi in the morning to the ferry and everything!

They gave me a free upgrade to a private room (I think most rooms are private ones). AC worked really well, good bathroom. Kitchen was basic but OK. Staff were friendly, and all at a good price.

This was probably the best tour I have ever been on, I would highly recommend going with these guys, it was truly exotic! They took me to places I don’t think anyone would ever get to in their whole life! I would do it again! Thanks for the experience guacamayos tours! I don’t understand why this place has so many bad reviews! I got my own personal room with ac, a big bed and my own washroom, would recommend staying here!

I did 3 tours with these guys, before going to volunteer at the jungle river lodge, they dropped me off after the tour, i was there for 4 hours max when the owner texted me that she doesnt support that i took another company for some tours and told me to leave and find volunteer elsewhere, within minutes i texted the hostal here, they picked me up the next day and took me with rafting, as soon as i got back the boss hired me to volunteer here. The staff/tour guides are the best i have seen!
