However, Lake Tekapo is surrounded by Alpine mountains which will be extremely cold depending on the weather. We suggest you bring more layers when you are planning to visit Tekapo from April to October. Kindly noted that we are not able to cancel the booking due to natural disasters or road closures.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

The view was very impressive. Size was ok. easy to park.

Seemed like the hosts did not care about the property and make the stay memorable. we were going to cook in house but the cookware and utensils were unacceptable. Given the price of the stay replacing the dirty cookware should have been done. the dishcloths were dirty and floor burnt in sections. The garden had not been looked after and pot plants to welcome were dead... . outdoor seating covered in bird droppings - unable to use and table warped. Overall very disappointing experience for the price. Given the exquisite location the property amenities should match that. it does not!
