Otherwise, a surcharge of NZD $25 will apply for arrivals after check-in hours. For your information, we provide a heater, e-blanket, and extra blanket at all our accommodations. However, Lake Tekapo is surrounded by Alpine mountains which will be extremely cold depending on the weather. We suggest you bring more layers when you are planning to visit Tekapo from April to October. Kindly noted that we are not able to cancel the booking due to natural disasters or road closures.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Comfortable, clean and warm"

Location, spacious, warm

A bit tired, TV remote was missing, had to change a lightbulb and towel rail in bathroom needs fixing properly. We fixed it temporarily.

The property had a beautiful view and was a great house overall, with a spacious kitchen that we really enjoyed. Located in very nice location, in front of the farm and we could even see some alpacas with the mountains view.

Since it was winter, the house could have been a bit warmer. The living room felt quite cold without a heater (only A/C but not big enough for the whole room), and the two heaters provided in the bedroom weren’t quite enough to keep the space comfortable. As for cleanliness, most things were spotless, but we did notice that the bin hadn’t been completely emptied.

"Spacious Two Bedrooms Apartment"

Self check in at your own time, just get the key from the locked box with a code before arrival. The apartment is very spacious and clean, it has a big living room and a kitchenette if you have the time to cook your meals. Good, powerful and functional heaters in the bedrooms and the bathroom,, and an air conditioner in the living room. Beautiful mountain view and sunrise scene from the apartment, nice autumn tree colour from the neighbour next to it.

A bit difficult to open the locked box but not a big problem. The light switch at the car park is not working, coming back at night has to figure things out in the dark.
