However, Lake Tekapo is surrounded by Alpine mountains which will be extremely cold depending on the weather. We suggest you bring more layers when you are planning to visit Tekapo from April to October. "Superb"

Beautiful spot to relax with amazing views and farm animals too! We stayed in Feb and it was very hot but able to open the doors during the day to cool it down. Before using the machine machine ask if it's been fixed - our clothes got stuck :) comfortable beds suitable for 4 people. We had family come round for a few drinks on the balcony who were staying at Galaxy hotel next door

Great location Lovely space inside with comfortable beds and spacious lounge/kitchen area

Dated furniture in lounge/dining area The entrance porch could have been swept/cleaner A dining chair has a loose seat which I nearly fell off. The table mats were covered in dried food The kitchen needs more crockery/cutlery/serving bowls

A very modern and comfortable two bedroom house with all the facilities you would expect. Full kitchen, front load washing machine and very comfy beds. Self check-in was a breeze.

Nothing. This place was perfect for our stay at Lake Tekapo.

"Great panoramic views"

A modern spacious home. Great views of the mountains surrounding the lake. Well furnished with comfortable couches and a large TV. Kitchen bench was big so was easy to use. The large windows throughout the lake-facing side gave fantastic panoramic views. Trees from neighbouring properties below unfortunately have reduced the view of the lake to a thin slither.

There were a couple of strand of hair in the shower booth and spare toilet paper rolls were placed in the trash basket. The basket looked clean but not knowing what was thrown in there from previous guests had us worried about the hygiene of using the spare rolls.

"Wonderful house and location"

Loved location and house. Very comfortable and clean.

Had hoped there might be a dryer - great to do some washing, but would have liked to be able to get fully dry straight away. Did leave on rack for the night which was OK.
