Christie's Cottage Countryside Escape with Spa

Beautiful historic property in a lovely rural area, very comfortable and quiet, the hot tub is an added bonus , the hosts are a lovely couple who are there to meet you and provide everything you need

Absolutely loved everything about this beautiful cottage! Very clean and every detail is carefully considered which is to be admired! A lot of love goes into the running of this cottage!

There is not one fault with this property.

The hosts were amazing really attentive and chatty when showing you around the cottage and how everything works and where everything is. Freshly baked homemade scones left such a nice touch. Takeaway menus also provided for all the local food places in the surrounding areas. The hot tub was amazing so clean and also covered over with a parasol so can be used in all weather. The whole cottage was amazing so peaceful and we will definitely return.

House was stunning and very cute.

Felt very overwhelmed with the rules of the property, myself and my friends wanted a relaxing girls night to catch up outside of work. Ring door bell there so felt there was no privacy also the hot tub had no privacy, very open and host live very close by (right next door) while were outside where they could see us the whole time we were in the hot tub which made us all feel uncomfortable. There was alot of rules about not being allowed in the hot tub at certain times and is locked. Also weren’t allowed to eat or drink in the living room or have drinks up stairs (eg. A glass of water to bed). Just made us all feel very uncomfortable like we couldn’t relax. We were told not to have any music playing or make any noise incase neighbours complained. We weren’t there to party in any way just a relaxing girls night and just felt uncomfortable the whole time. House itself was gorgeous and facilities were lovely.

Beautiful period farmhouse near Dungiven. Easy access to the new main road so a quick spin if you were going to Derry or Belfast! Wonderfully decked out and beautifully appointed. Particularly enjoyed the old Fairy bottle. Didn't get to try the spa but it was immaculate and warmed up and ready to go, hopefully next time! Thanks again! Absolute highlight was the cow and the dog playing in the field like best buddies.

Things we didn’t like. It said in the description there was a bbq, we couldn’t find it.

Hosts met us when we arrived and showed us around the house and how everything works, they were both very friendly. Hot tub was very relaxing looking out over the countryside. The kids loved the swing and looking at the sheep in the field. The house was spotless.
