Tenuta Guardastelle - Agriturismo and vineyard

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Offered us a glass of wine at check-in. They were clear about what they were offering and always ready to help us. They also were quite accommodating when we wanted to leave our car for a couple hours after check out. We were offered a glass of wine from their winery at check in which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and the estate was pittoresque with a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills.

There only seems to be one clerk so if they are busy, you might end up waiting a bit.

The location is great, with San Gimignano on the doorstep (but note - we drove rather than walk, as the track back is a v dark at night for 25 mins walk, scary even with head torches). Parking was easy though. The apartment was lovely and well kitted, the terrace was beautiful was great views. Pool was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was the best, so many lovely homemade or local treats and the staff super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We didn't get to enjoy the wine, but that and the tours are a good perk!

Would've loved a washing machine as ended up washing everything by hand but that's a small thing

Het ontbijt was fantastisch met bovenal zelfgemaakte gerechten. De locatie, op loopafstand van San Gimignano was heel mooi. De kamer was mooi. Je merkte bij het personeel de liefde voor hun hotel.

Er waren geen kamers met balkon, maar dat zou wel fijn zijn geweest.

Fantastische accommodatie! Heel mooi onderhouden super ontbijt met een fenomenaal uitzicht. Elk hoekje was mooi, zwembad is super.

Wat ikzelf jammer vind is dat er in de avond op accommodatie zelf weinig te doen is. Je kunt een wijntje drinken op gezamenlijk terras.

Le site est vraiment très beau et la vue imprenable sur Sangiminiano est la cerise sur le gateau. Le personnel est aux petits oignons et toujours souriant, sympathique et de bon conseil. Hygiène irréprochable. Petit déjeuner bien bon.

We loved our stay at Tenuta Guardastelle. The surroundings are so picturesque, it felt like we were in a fairytale. The breakfasts are home cooked and delicious, the rooms are comfortable, the pool is fantastic and the staff are so helpful and friendly, we felt like we were part of the family. Every aspect has a personal touch which is so warm and welcoming. We did a wine tasting and it was interesting and also nice to chat with other couples. Susanna has done a great job of creating a warm and friendly dreamlike bubble!

The only thing that bothered myself and my teenage daughters was the lack of good lighting for doing our faces in the morning. My bathroom was particularly dark so i had to get ready in my daughter's room which was slightly better.
