The Pines Men-Only Stay

Everything here was exceptional. The heated pool was incredible. Michael is the warmest, nicest host ever. Rooms are beautiful, comfortable beds and bathrooms, coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge… the best place you can book.

Stunning property, lots to see in terms of garden and views, great kitchen and grill, and the most fantastic heater salt water pool! There were all kinds of tents, umbrellas and chairs for the beach, and towels provided for all occasions! The host Michael was fantastic: kind, engaging and sweet.

Wow this place is perfect. I almost don't want anyone to know. Michael was amazing and helpful and thoughtful. The room had a fridge and microwave and coffee maker which was so useful. The whole place is beautifully designed with many thoughtful touches. Like chargers for any kind of device even next to the pool chairs . I never had to drag my cord around. And a glorious outdoor shower. And of course towels and beach chairs and umbrellas and coolers and wagons and anything and everything you could need. I loved my room and the pool and the other guests. The wind blew. The butterflies flew. The pool twinkled. I loved it so much. Beach sooooo close. Just awesome. Highly recommend.

The hosts went out of their way to make me feel welcome. There were some unexpected bonuses like access to a heated pool, a home gym, laundry, and beach equipment. Will definitely be staying here again!

Michael is an excellent host, engaging, energetic and helpful. He offered suggestions and engaged us in stimulating conversations as well as offering a caring, positive spin on the communication. He is an exempilary host with the most! The pool is well maintained and the outside shower and plants are beautiful.

I wish I could comment positively on the place but I cannot. No hot water for three of four days. Terrible treatment by the host overshadowed anything I could have liked about the place.

The host was beyond rude--he was hostile. There was no hot water for three of four days. The terrible treatment from the host had a big negative impact on my vacation. This person does not know how to make a safe space for all people. He tired to gaslight me that the hot water was on when it was not. I made a request that was incredibly rudely rejected. I honestly felt afraid. Terrible experience.

I booked this mini-getaway R&R for my partner and I, and we were extremely happy with our room, the large shower stall bathroom (Water pressure amazing like a spa), the grounds of the home and our host Michael. He could not be more graciously and made us feel right at home. The saltwater pool provide a lovely experience, along with poolside chats with the other guest were also very engaging and humorous. I will definitely visit again.
