Holiday home sleeps six

Host was responsive, good location, nice family getaway spot.

The actual accommodation and communication with the owner was fantastic. Thank you. If we weren't looking to use the site pools and restaurant, it would have been perfect but the pool arrangements totally ruined it.

The swimming arrangements at the site were awful. We ended up having to wait around for 3 hours, just to get to swim. We tried to use up time by having lunch whilst we waited but it wasn't our idea of a holiday with a pool, to have to wait around for ages to then queue to hopefully collect wristbands for a swimming time to be allocated to you. We queued four times, to then discover once at the front of the queue, that the time slot was fully booked. We couldn't request the next time slot, we had to queue for the queue again and again. It was pot luck and a big waste of precious family holiday time. The restrictions on whether your band was for the inside or the outside pools was also crazy! We ended up with one of us leaving the pool, going to reception dripping wet and requesting a second set of wristbands, just to use the outside pools within the same session time. We've holidayed all around the world. This site was an embarrassment to the UK. We definitely won't be returning, nor to any other UK holiday parks. It has put us off completely.

Ideal situation, close to local shops, restaurants, and amenities. Easy access to both the forest and the coastal area.

Location was wonderful, great activities for the whole family and surrounded by beautiful, easily accessible forest. The New Forest and coast are within easy reach. The host was very helpful and attentive. The washing machine was a welcome bonus.

Seriously the only improvement I can think of would be a cafetiere, or some other means to make fresh coffee. Other than that I couldn't fault the caravan.

Excellent location and the host was very on it with communication. The van was really clean and had plenty of space, especially with the decking and outdoor furniture. Having passes included for the entertainment (we went swimming both days) is a great bonus! Parking for 2 cars is handy. Large woods on site and only a minute's walk from the van is great for a wander, especially with dogs. When we are next travelling down south, we will 100% stay here again. Thank you!!!

Location was 10/10 and so very peaceful
