Horseshoe Cottage historic gem near Snowdonia.

Fantastic hosts, knowledgeable, friendly and very interesting. Very accommodating when an accident happened, genuinely couldn't ask for more. Fantastic accommodation, very clean, great facilities, incredible views.

Excellent hosts who cared about guests' comfort and contentment - including the provision of a troop of gymnastic and entertaining sheep!. The accommodation was very clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, overall. There are also splendid views of mountains and sea.

Not a lot, really. Some more information about, and control over heating/temperature would be helpful, as autumn and winter sets in.

Geoff and Julie were perfect hosts Their recommendations for places to visit was exceptional their knowledge of the area outstanding. Accommodation was outstanding everything you would need was there. So peaceful perfect to de-stressing. Hot tub was the icing on the cake.

Really friendly hosts, beautifully furnished cottage with great outside space and fantastic views down to the sea. Really well located for lots of attractions nearby. Perfect for families or for couples. We’d love to return.

Absolutely nothing.

The location is beautiful, and the cottage is well thought out. Julie and Geoff were brilliant. Julie's local knowledge and places we could visit were very helpful. The hot tub was lovely to relax in whilst soaking up the scenery/sunset and watching the sheep, who were very entertaining. We have a 9yr old & 15yr old who also enjoyed their stay..the bonus they had their own bathroom 😁 and so did we. Thank you, Geoff & Julie x

Lovely cottage very peaceful

A full size fridge freezer would have been better and the tv lower down, if you need a washing machine there are 6 in the petrol station in the village which was helpful .

Das Horseshoe Cottage liegt auf einem wunderschönen großen grünen Grundstück. Es gibt mehrere Unterkünfte dort, aber das merkt man überhaupt nicht, weil jede für sich gelegen ist. Das Cottage ist sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Küche ist so gut ausgestattet - endlich einmal eine Ferienunterkunft, wo es nicht nur 4 Teller gibt, sondern ausreichend Geschirr und Töpfe und dazu wirklich alles, was man sich sonst noch wünschen kann. Die 3 Badezimmer sind modern und schön. Es gibt zwei gemütliche Schlafzimmer. Vom Cottage schaut man in alle Richtungen ins Grüne und genau wie in der Beschreibung angegeben sieht man sowohl Berge, also auch Garten, als auch Meer. Zum Cottage gehören zwei Terrassen, eine vor und eine neben dem Haus. Dort kann man wunderbar sitzen und lesen oder zu Abend essen. Der Hot Tub ist großartig - war für uns kein Kriterium für die Buchung, aber wirklich ein tolles schönes Extra. Nach einer langen Wanderung tut es gut, darin zu entspannen. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich perfekt, da in alle Richtungen verschiedene Gegenden gut erreichbar sind: Der Snowdonia-Nationalpark, die Halbinsel Anglesey, Caernarfon mit dem Castle, die Küste auf der Llynn Peninsular, Harlech Castle. Die Unterkunft selbst liegt absolut ruhig, abseits von großen Straßen. Julie und Geoff sind tolle Gastgeber, sehr herzlich und Julie hat uns viele Infos über die Gegend gegeben. Im Haus gibt es zusätzlich Wanderkarten und Infomaterial. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld hat super geklappt und auch während unseres Aufenthaltes waren die beiden immer für Fragen ansprechbar. Die frischen Eier der freilaufenden Hühner sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren eine ganze Woche dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, hatten alles was wir brauchten und konnten uns wunderbar entspannen.
