Beech Please Cozy Beech Mountain Stay

Very clean and organized. Enjoyed the kitchen setup with everything available one would need and more as well as the bathroom. King bed and sofa were very comfortable and cozy.

The bed was comfortable

It was cold, but nothing a pair of socks and comfy blanket couldn't fix.

The unit has a lot of steps from parking lot to condo door. No problem for young people but at 70 years old it was a bit difficult to carry luggage up and down so many steps.

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable, we were three people (and a dog) so had to use the living room's sofa/open bed as well, which was in front of the electric fireplace and large screen tv. There was also a patio, and the coolest thing was probably the deer family that came to visit in the morning. The town (Beech Mountain) is a ski resort, we were only there for a night so just passing through.

We somehow got no less than 9 e-mails from the host in the 13 hours following the invitation without even replying (while in all the other places we've stayed in, there were only two automatic e-mails, confirming the invitation), so it was somewhat confusing and difficult to follow, especially when you're travelling and moving from place to place. Some of the emails were about checking out instructions and reminders (even before we checked in), and others concerned another online form we had to fill in before checking in with more personal details, which was quite a hassle. There was an extra charge of 50 dollars for bringing a pet. It's a bit expensive (in some other places we've stayed in the area it was half that sum, or none at all), and in any case should have been written in advance before booking (instead of generally stating that extra charges for bringing a pet may apply). We only learnt about this fee after completing the order (in one of the many e-mails we received), and it wasn't possible to cancel the reservation anyway. It was only possible to pay this fee using an application and not directly by credit card (we used Paypal). Even though we specifically ordered the apartment for three people, there was no bed sheet and no blanket sheet for the living room bed. But these are just minor, technical issues that can be easily fixed, the apartment itself is great.

We absolutely LOVED everything about this place!! The cozy charm, the cleanliness, the perfect location! The host is very friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to go back!

I didn’t like that I had to leave! Lol! It was wonderful!!

The location was just where we needed it to be; it wasn't cheap but reasonable for the area. The bed was excellent, and the kitchen was reasonably stocked too.

It's an older unit; while the inside was fine the outside was a little worn (like "don't use this set of outside stairs") - while the area is pretty there was no real view from the nice porch.
