it was 7 min from Lake Coffey which is my husbands favorite lake

there’s nothing we didn’t like. I mean everyone always wants a better view but we enjoyed the deer and nature

"Fantastic, location, building, and host."

The place was immaculate. The host had all of the info emailed in a timely manner, with plenty of opportunities to check in or contact them if needed. The view off the back porch was, just... WOW. An amazing location in the Appalachians. Just such an incredible way to wake up and drink coffee looking out on the view. The soap was weirdly really good lol. I'm legitimately going to look it up. Tastefully decorated without being tacky. A suitable selection of utensils and stuff were availble. 30 minutes from Boone to go do whatever you want to during the day. Not to mention the littany of outdoors options nearby. Definitely check out the alpine coaster at least once.

EXTREMELY MINOR COMPLAINTS, not dealbreakers by any means: I guess the doors could use some hinge lubricant, seems like everything creaked while opening it lol, the cabinets, the fridge, the handles on the shower. Tara reccomended maybe some board games or something, I'm not sure how realistic that is to maintain though. If you're not familiar with the area, the drive up the mountain can be daunting, obviously if you're staying up the side of a mountain you should be aware of a number of steep switchbacks to take it slow and easy on.
