Amazing location, nice and tidy, quiet at night.

The bed and pillows not so comfortable.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

There was nobody there to greet us when we arrived at 4pm and had to knock on a door and wait. I realised there weren't any towels in our room and sent a message to the owner to ask for towels and we went out. When we came back in there still weren't any towels and we realised the TV didnt work in our room. I went downstairs and knocked again, the elderley man who answered the door said he had had a stroke and wouldnt be able to assist us and that his daughter was out.I sent another message and waited and then just before I went to bed spotted another person who seemed to work there and asked if he could help and he couldnt, said the TV lead had been stolen and we could move room if we wanted but my daughter had already got in bed at this point. Hospitality isn't just providing a bed, its being able to assist your guests if they need anything. Would have been nice to just chill and watch TV before bed but we weren't afforded the luxury. Might as well have booked a travellodge for the price.

Friendly greeting, explained breakfast arrangements, and when told I had to leave very early, I was told I could grab a quick self service breakfast. Room comfortable and warm.

Couldn't actually help myself too a self service breakfast as the door to the room was locked! No time, nor any particular wish, to try and rouse the staff, so went without.

I've been before, and it was as good as previous visits. They are great hosts. Have best breakfast, cooked really well. Very comfy, clean room. Very cosy during cold, wet days. They complied with my requests regarding allergies. Very helpful with directions to local amenities and tourist interests. 😇 beautiful Ogmore beach just down the road., very foggy. Will return, hopefully when the sun is there too.

I arrived earlier than expected. I couldn't find anyone to check in with. Can't think of anything else other than they had no control over the rain!🤭
