The room was lovely and clean. The staff friendly and helpful.

The WiFi was not working as someone crashed the car outside but this was not their fault and was promptly repaired.

Location was perfect.

Everything matched as advertised.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very easy going and willing to cater to all our needs . The room was clean, tidy and warm with lovely views over the countryside and river. In the morning there were a good selection of fruit and cereal or the option for something cooked . Can't fault it and will be back next time we're home

In need of some maintenance (plugs loose, shower fittings loose, old rusty kettle) Possible that the hot water was on a timer which meant both nights had no hot water. Not ideal when you’ve just celebrated your marriage and it been a long cold day. Tad slow for serving anything hot for breakfast as it’s family run and there aren’t enough staff to help cater larger groups. (Even though the host tries her best)

The room was very quiet and had all that was needed for a comfortable stay. Great shower, Nice clean, warm room and friendly staff when I encountered them.

Purely on a personal note, because I am very unsteady on my feet, I found the gravel carpark difficult to walk on. There was nobody around to speak to or ask questions like breakfast time, etc. and nothing in the information pack in the room which made me feel slightly isolated. I was aware I was very much alone which was a bit daunting but not a negative as far as the property was concerned. The phone number does not pick up so couldn't make contact with anyone! Lovely place but not suitable for me as a lone traveller.
