The host, Maria, is absolutely amazing, attentive, caring and understanding, and also gave us tips for activities and places to see. We felt so welcomed by her! She checked up on us to make sure everything went good, and is easy to talk to. The apartment was roomy and clean, with cosy, comfortable furniture and a relaxing balcony with seating. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and it was easy to feel at home. We visited in mid-April, so everything was well tempered, but I can imagine the stone walls and plentiful windows makes this a cooling and relaxing space in summer heat. The area is not too busy, being situated outside the city centre, and while there's a bit of a walk to markets and tourist areas, it's definitely worth it for the calm atmosphere (as well as free, spacious parking for us rural drivers). It's close to the beautiful botanical garden and scenic harbour, and there are also some good restaurants and shops nearby. To conclude, our stay was delightful and I highly recommend this place.

My stay at this place was absolutely fantastic! Right from the beginning, the contact with the host was excellent – she responded very quickly to messages and was incredibly helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. An additional advantage was the permission to leave our luggage after checkout, which made our day much easier to organize. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Good location, close to the train station, the sea and different attractions. Quiet neighbourhood. Two bathrooms are very convenient, especially when more people stay in the apartment.

Large apartment, two balconies, air conditioning, lovely touches like toiletries and local treats

Bottle of wine was a great surprise and it set a tone for our great night out in Palermo.
