Denvir's of Downpatrick

Very friendly and efficient staff, great food - both breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar with log fire

We got upgraded to a whole apartment with no extra cost which was fantastic! Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The apartment had its own kitchen, so we were able to make our own food, because we were over at Christmas, but the staff had gave us the option to have breakfast at the hotel. Very prime location! My parents house was a 15 min walk! And extremely close to shops! Very cleaner, the cleaners were very polite and respectful.

This isn't a complaint, more for awareness for anyone booking Denvirs. The traffic can be quite load. There is a main road that runs through Downpatrick and there are some Eejits driving at 3am honking theirs and things. If people aren't use to town/cities noises that's the only thing.

Have stayed here a few times staff always helpful and friendly. Always willing to accommodate our needs. Very clean and comfortable.

Valley for money

The staff are always helpful and friendly. The food is amazing and the accommodation comfortable and well set up.

Its not a dislike as we love staying here and do so a few times a year, , but parking can be a little away from the inn on the street. We have always found some and it is safe.

The room was excellent, as always. This is our third year in a row staying at Denvir’s in Downpatrick, and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the room is spacious, clean, and beautifully kept, and the breakfast is consistently excellent.

The only downsides this time were minor but worth mentioning. The bathroom flush button was broken, and the towels provided were quite small, not large enough to wrap around after a shower, which meant it took a while to dry off. In previous years, the towels were full-sized bath towels, so I’m not sure why full-sized shower towels weren’t provided on this occasion.
