"Very central location to Ambleside, within walking distance of everything."

The location was very central to Ambleside and the parking space was definitely needed. Very close to shops and amenities. The extra utility space and large bathroom was very good, and the kitchen and flat was well stocked with things we could use.

The front bedroom experienced quite a lot of road and noise from outside, plus the other flats above and to the side unfortunately, but it is a busy road.

"We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment."

The location was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable. The utility area was great. We used the washing machine twice and so having a heated airer was useful. Good communication with hosts. Generous supply of tea and coffee.

The main bathroom light was rather dim. A second light over the basin would have improved the lighting in the room. The light in the second bathroom was also rather dim and flickered at times. We didn’t manage to use the TV as there was no signal. We tried a few options but were unsuccessful. We could have chosen to contact the hosts but decided not to as we managed to view the programme we wanted on a laptop.

The apartment was really clean and well-maintained. The rooms are all spacious. And most importantly, it’s just a few minutes walk from the bus stop which is really convenient if travelling without a car.

The apartment had everything we needed and was in a central location

The apartment was on a busy road so there was a lot of traffic noise even at night. Also, there were too many rules and regulations that guests had to follow
