Yiannis and Thekla's apartment offers great value for money. The room is very spacious, comfortable and clean, especially the beds are very comfortable. The location of the apartment is also extremely advantageous. There is Liberty Square right outside, with countless restaurants, cafes and convenience stores, and it is also close to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Maybe the apartment has not been promoted too much, but it is absolutely perfect, and the value and the price is far better than other apartments in the same city! The host is also very enthusiastic and considerate. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend this apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed gathering our extended family reunion in this spacious and well-managed vacation apartment. Spotlessly clean and well-appointed, it offered us a bright and welcoming place to return each day after exploring eastern Crete. The location, too, is superb, for it is only a ten-minute walk to central Heraklion’s food, shops, museums, and coastline. The management is very responsive and works hard to ensure their guests needs and comforts.

Very good communication with the owners. The apartment was beautiful and so clean. We found the apartment to be perfect for our needs. I recommend it without hesitation.

The host is very responsible and gave detailed instructions for checkin and checkout. The apartment is spacious for a group of 3-6 people and at a good location. We actually checked out late and left our luggage in the apartment when the door code expired. The host was very kind and sent us new code in time so we didn't miss our flight.

The host Yiannis was amazing, we booked the apartment really late at night filling cancelled flights following the IT glich. Yiannis couldn’t have been more helpful in our journey of need and went above and beyond to help us, a group of 6. Apartment was spacious and clean with everything you need, location excellent to all city sites and beach not too far. Airport only a 20 minute taxi ride.

We’ve just had our second stay in “Penelope” and can only more assuredly endorse our first review. Wonderful to stay again and really felt like “coming home”. Many thanks to Yiannis and Thekla who are the most gracious of hosts and experts in communication. We hope to be back with you again, having fallen in love with Crete.
