Grand Apartment in Historic Building with Free Parking

Superb location close to town and all the facilities you could wish for. There were many extras that we have not found in other locations.

Could not get underfloor heating in bathroom and kitchen to work but owner is on it - not sure if it was something we were not doing. Rather than rely on messaging the owner for this, we feel that some printed instructions may be helpful.

This is an elegant boutique apartment and we will happily stay here again! Loved the luxury decor and the beautiful main two bedrooms (we didn't use the 3rd bedroom with bunkbeds). The lounge is stunning. Unlike the vast majority of properties I've stayed in, kitchen and bathroom consumable provisions were very generous, which made us feel trusted which is such a lovely feeling when staying somewhere. All the practicalities have been really thought through making it very pleasant indeed. Enough plugs, wifi, bins, hooks, hangers, games, chairs, rugs, coasters. Whatever we would have wanted was provided including lovely hot water. Most places could do better on the practical front but this is really excellent. They have found the sweet spot of beauty and practicality. 10 minute walk into the city. Two locked parking spaces. I also liked the layout of the apartment with 7 stairs to the lounge. It's one of 6 apartments in an old manor house with period architectural features. A lovely slice of history to match the historic Canterbury.

Heating and induction hob instructions would have been helpful, but when we realised it had a childlock, we worked it out!

Very spacious and in a good location.

Though there was heating, the windows won’t close properly and there will be constant cold coming into the rooms and a lot of noise at night. Very cold in the bathroom and hallway too which made it very hard with young kids.

Location is great. Building is really quirky and well kept. The art work in the apartment is really interesting. The owner has great taste and everything is high quality.

Heating system is quite strange to work but George was very good at fixing it. There should be a booklet with info about the parking, heating, rubbish disposal, recycling, use of dishwasher. Just to mention a few... Fixing the triple glazing in the main bedroom would enhance the guests experience now that the weather is getting cold.

A lovely, modern apartment in an older property with a secure parking space for one car. Very easy key collection from a key safe and the host didn't wait until the last minute to send details which was much appreciated. The apartment was very clean! A bottle of prosecco and some sweets awaited us which was nice touch A 10 minute moderately paced walk to Canterbury city centre. Hubby and two teenage daughters all said WOW when we got inside the apartment for the first time and all four of us what to stay again.

Two small points One shower room&toilet between three bedrooms (in theory up to six guests) led to a few tense moments 🤣 I should imagine that this would be difficult to change in an old building No WiFi in the two large bedrooms but easy to use mobile hot-spot so not a problem for us Neither of these would stop us from staying again

L'apartament és molt bonic i està molt ben equipat. La cuina tenia de tot, les habitacions molt grans i la sala i la cuina molt acollidores. Uns dels millors apartaments als que hem estat.

Wow! As soon as we entered, we were blown away with the apartment. It is decorated to a high standard and has everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to toiletries in the bathroom. The artwork throughout was so beautiful. Each bedroom was tastefully decorated. We stayed 2 nights to attend a family wedding. George was so helpful, recommending places to eat and local taxi firms. He couldn't do enough for us. The location is great and a short walk to the cathedral, bars, restaurants etc. I would highly recommend staying here, and we plan to return again so we can explore more of what Canterbury has to offer.

The apartment was fantastic! Walking distance to Cathedral, free parking, the large sectional couch was a great place for a family movie at the end of the day.
