Shepherds Hut in enclosed field

Easy to find, close to city yet feel like you’re out in the country. Good options for restaurants and pubs nearby. Nice enclosed field for walking dogs.

This place was perfect to unwind and destress. There was no TV or wifi which was a huge benefit when needing to relax. Quality towels and bedding were provided, which was a lovely touch. My dog loved our own private paddock to play ball. He loved being in the quiet with no noise of people or traffic.

The grass could of done with a cut but it was no drama.

I loved that it was fenced in which meant my dog could just come and go as he pleased 😌

We loved the middle of nowhere vibe, your own enclosed meadow, fantastic if travelling with your four legged friends!! Had everything we needed for a short break, beautiful and peaceful.

Would be nice to have some board/card games. Maybe a hot tub!! Other than that it was pretty perfect. We didn’t eat the hut as plenty of pubs etc locally, I feel it would benefit from a better oven if you were to cook there.

Loved the location. Got lost as google Maps took us to a neighbouring farm, claire the host was contactable by phone and came and found us. The mattress was very comfy. There was coffee tea and a lovely pack of chocolate biscuits on arrival, lovely touch. We were there to watch Billy Joel in Cardiff and the park and ride nearby was great for the journey in and out of Cardiff.

The weather couldnt put the firepit and BBQ to use unfortunately.

The location was perfect not far from shops and the city
