Danseys Pass Lavender Farm Shearer's Hut

The breakfast was a real treat. Great Fresh bread and butter daily plus daily power packed eggs! Location is very special with many options for travelers to stay put and enjoy the surrounding country side and lavender farm. Great hosts who are creating a very special place in Aoteoroa, well done.

Exceptional! Such a beautiful place. Super comfy, super quiet. Great host. Amazing sauna and hot tub. Fresh bread and eggs for breakfast. Bath & shower were fabulous. River access was great.

Amazing stay, highly recommend, beautiful drive in, definitely a unique experience.

The domes and environment are tranquil and so relaxing. The moment you walk in the dome you just feel a huge sigh leave your body. Instant relaxation. The hot tub, river and views were stunning. Loved everything about it.

Having to leave was the worst part.

Everything about this place is amazing. The views, the farm itself is nicely placed. The dome stay is truly magical and the luxurious touches just elevate the stay. We were there only for two nights, and already thinking of when to go back :) Thank you so much for hosting us

Alles. Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Einmalig. Mega speziell. Und die Ruhe. Super Gastgeber. Frisches 🍞 Brot, 🥚 Eier und Butter. Feine Konfitüre und richtige Kaffee. Und dann noch der heisse Whirpool! Absolut genial

Nichts negatives!!

Wow, what an oasis with great hosts in such a remote location. The property is just perfect for people that seek silence in a natural environment. Still, there is some comfort too in this fantastic garden (sauna, hot tub, etc). Would be a regular guest if New Zealand was a bit closer ;-)

Hot Tub und Küche

We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning our return to the lavender farm!... Beautiful remote location and we absolutely loved all the little details in the dome, a perfect spot if you want to get away from it all and fully disconnect. Biggest highlights for us were sitting in the hot tub under the rain, watching the views and the reflection of the "sphere lamps" onto the glass windows at dusk and of course the scrumptious fresh bread that our lovely host Hugh delivered to our door in the morning :)

The outside deck / hot tub area could maybe do with a little "fence" for more wind protection and privacy?
