North Star Hotel Pictured Rocks

It was clean. We had no problems. It was a little expensive for what it was but it was among the better priced in town…or slightly out of town. Breakfast was decent.

Could use some updates and more plug ins around the bed area.

The hotel is an old one. It has been remodeled and is very clean but there are no "frills". The pillows were nice but the comfort of the beds was a 6/10. It got the job done but we didn't spend extra time in the room.

The elevator was claustrophobic very small for two regular size adults and a cart of luggage. Beds were hard. Would not return to this location.

Very nice hotel, clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast, would highly recommend.

Entire location was sparkling clean. People were friendly, helpful. Very pleasant stay.

The address says Munising, but the location appears to be actually in Singleton. A bit confusing.

The hotel is relatively quiet, but that’s not really a unique advantage, as the entire city is very calm and peaceful.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. The moment I walked in, there was a strong, unpleasant odor that immediately made me uncomfortable. The bedsheets were wrinkled and didn’t even look freshly changed, which made me question the hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene standards. The room itself was tiny, cramped, and far below what I expected. What makes this even more frustrating is that the price was not cheaper than other chain hotels, yet the quality was shockingly poor. I booked this place only because it was rated four stars on Booking.com, but in reality, the conditions were worse than some one-star hotels I’ve stayed at. Honestly, I have no idea how Booking determines its star ratings, but this was a complete letdown and a total waste of money.

It was clean. Convenient location.

Spartan rooms. Basic breakfast, no variety, same thing every day. Rooms were warm, needed to crank the a/c.
