Without your own transport it is quite difficult to get around.

"A lovely place to stay near Tacloban or Padre Burgos!"

Beautiful property, rooms were spacious and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Kitchen was available for cooking. Family is very helpful, they were available for information on tours and sights to see. Diving board and rope swing out front were fun.

A cosy little home away from home. The most comfortable, clean and peaceful stay we’ve stayed in the Philippines in a month. Both Chue and Larry are so welcoming and thoughtful, and even arranged us a meal after a long journey to their place. The little village of Tomas Oppus is full of beautiful and kind people like Chue and Larry who will greet you with a smile and do anything to help you. The private balcony overlooking the beautiful bay, diving boards, and seating areas are great places to unwind. The place is very clean, has a European summerhouse feel, and a great bathroom. The great photos honestly don’t do it justice! Chue and Larry, thank you - I’ll definitely be back with my girlfriend in the future :)

The property and hosts are honestly perfect - but if you’re intending to cook proper meals you might want to have a vehicle to head into Sogod for a supermarket (20-30 minutes), unless you don’t mind a bus ride! That aside, as mentioned, the local shop owners are great and stock beers and basic essentials relating to food.

A beautiful and spacious homestay, with crystal clear waters and breathtaking marine life at your doorstep. From dawn til dusk, never a moment go by without spectacular painting esque views. Wonderful staff and amazing hosts, will make you wish to stay forever. Excellent food served and has cooking facilities in room. 2x diving boards and rope swing. An authentic and truly blissful experience that I would highly recommend to everyone.

There is nothing to dislike.
