The flat was really comfortable and great for our stay. Perfect location close to restaurants and the Cavern club , short walking distance to Albert Docks . We will definitely book again .

The location was good, and having an apartment with amenities to ourselves was nice. Despite it being close to bars, it was relatively quiet and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were easily contactable.

The stairs to the apartments are quite steep. Negotiating them with luggage was a challenge! Sofa bed (uncomfortable to sit on) and having a microwave would have been good. Though relatively modern, the decor is in need of a refresh, as a lot of the walls are marked and grubby in places (more so in the main foyers/stairwells). Serviced apartments are at the mercy of the cleaning company who have the contract. I had to go and buy cleaning wipes before we used the kitchen and bathroom, I guess it depends on your own standards of cleanliness though!

Quite dusty in corners of bedroom and bedside lockers. Generally happy / no complaints really. Would recommend! However, an observation! Check in was 4pm which I thought was late particularly as nobody was using the apartment. Check out was 10am which I thought was very early, again, particularly as nobody was waiting to gain access. I know this because for an EXTRA PAYMENT we could arrive earlier and/or depart later than 10am. I understand its nobody's concern that we had 3 children but it seems a little 'crass' to be trying to charge extra for what this 65yr old always understood check in to be 2/3pm and checkout 11am/12 noon. Ah well! times they are a changing

Location, location, location !

The flat was spacious and well laid out, with a large living room and decent kitchen. The location is very central and convenient for getting around the city. I also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and that my request to stay on the first floor was honoured.

Every time I entered the building I had to hold my breath, as the smell of rubbish from the bin room near the entrance was overwhelming. Unfortunately the flat itself also had a lingering stench I couldn’t quite place. The space was dusty throughout, from the skirting boards to the lamps, and the dining table was sticky with mug rings, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest. The kitchen surfaces were similarly sticky and lacked basic essentials like kitchen roll or paper napkins (though a dishwasher tablet and a washing machine capsule were provided). The glasses in the cupboard had a strong, unpleasant smell (just the thought of it now makes me feel sick) and I had to handwash them before using anything. The sofa was stained and the only cushion felt dirty and dusty, so I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it. The bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned either and only bar soap and shower gel were provided, no shampoo. The bed came with very thin, soft pillows that offered no support; I ended up taking pillows from the extra bed to try to make it work, but even then it wasn’t enough for a restful night. I was also woken at 4am on Sunday by what sounded like crates of glass being dumped just outside; it was incredibly loud and went on for 10-15 minutes as they made several runs. Overall there was a persistent feeling of discomfort around hygiene and cleanliness. For a property listed at a premium price point, the lack of attention to basic standards made it feel completely unjustified and not worth the rate charged.

Easy access to town centre.

Doesn’t have air-condition or cooler for summer time. Fan provided in the property doesn’t work properly.
