"Great place to stay for a few days to get acclimated."

Cute place up the hill in Gravel Bay. The room was nice, free WiFi, TV and a really nice view. The pool was clean and really nice. Free breakfast of choice and the other food was good too. Great place to stay for a few days to get acclimated.

There's nothing close by to walk to, the hotel is up a steep hill.

We needed to stay near the airport for one night before catching a ferry to Utila. The staff and food were both excellent.

Comfy beds Good shower Good A/C

- Way too noisy at all hours - Staff members shouting to each other outside rooms - Chairs/furniture constantly banging first thing in a morning - Doors constantly banging (we were one of only three groups of guests in the hotel) - Repair works to the hotel very early & late in the day (power tools etc) - Pool was dirty - Dining room was dirty - Food wasn’t great at all, portions were tiny, the ‘American’ breakfast consisted of an egg, four plantine fries (yes 4) and 2 tiny pancakes - Asked a staff member to book a taxi from the hotel to the airport and was quoted 60 USD.. and she smiled when I asked if she was serious as it was one of her friends that she had called, not a taxi.

It is a bit isolated from everything if you plan on social life but perfect for us for the quieteness

I enjoyed the food. The bartender was very nice and the waitress was attentive. The views were beautiful and we could see a big cruise ship, very cool! It was a bit windy but that was too be expected. We were a few minutes from the airport. We were about 15 mins in carride away from the more touristy areas.

I wish I could’ve stayed longer but we were island hopping. I would like to come back and bring my family.
