Lunas View Hotel and Restaurant

I was unable to have the breakfast; I had to depart early to board the cruise ship. The office was closed when we departed only a gardener was available to get us a taxi to immigration and to the ship. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The lunch was great. Thank you to the staff and the translator.

The only think I saw that was an issue was the mold in the bathroom and in parts of the room. The rust on the toilet handle. I stated the above, but I did find the hotel was comfy and fulfilled my needs which was sleep.

I hate to write a bad review! But my whole time I was there was not comfortable. I just wanted my vacation to be over. I enjoyed the island very much and had great service through out the island. I would definitely go back to visit the island. But I will never stay there ever again!

The bed was comfortable! The few staff that were on the property as well as the Manager I spoke to on the phone tried to help the situation but to no avail.

I will start with the location and my feeling of safety as the hotel was not in a good area and it was really a motel by US standards as rooms were accessed from the outside. The entire staff as well as the neighbors that were 20 feet from my door all knew my door code 4040 which made me very uneasy not to mention that the door didn't function every time leading to the restaurant waitress having to climb through my window to let me in. The Wi-Fi was down because of the outdoor temperature LOL so had to sit in the hot restaurant to access. The Manager arranged me to use the reception girls phone for a hotspot for the afternoon so I could access my phone in my room. He also said my dinner would be comped but it was not and I was charged a credit card fee which when I asked about it was told it was the kitchen tip on a very expensive meal in an non air conditioned restaurant. The only save there was that the food was good. The hotel cleared out at 8 and I was alone on the property nervous about my safety. I went to look for the security guard as I wanted to access the Wi-Fi to let my son know I was ok and he was no where to be found. At 6:15 I began banging on the door as I needed the free shuttle to get me to the airport for my early flight which was the only reason I moved to this hotel near to the airport. The chef, AKA, the shuttle driver loaded me in a very old vehicle and got me to the airport. I tipped both him and the girl who lent me her phone but would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND anyone staying here. Stay put in West Bay, West End or wherever else you may have booked.
