Stylish Apartment with Hot tub and Garden

Good location with lots of amenities on the doorstep. Easy to reach Brighton town centre. The hot tub was a true delight!

Only two towels were provided for three guests. We had to search the cupboards for another towel. Would be super useful if a washing line or clothes rack was provided to hang wet stuff after being in the hot tub.

Good location; good value for money; beds comfortable.

The TV was very complex, we only got it to work once. The description did say washing machine and dishwasher, neither were available,

⸻ We didn’t even stay the night—we were in the apartment for just 15 minutes before leaving with a headache from the overwhelming smell of ammonia and cat urine. Everything was absolutely filthy and neglected: there were marks on the walls and floors, mould and damp everywhere, and squashed spiders in corners. The pictures online are completely misleading—total catfish. The hot tub is at the end of the garden and is completely exposed with multiple windows overlooking it, making it impossible to use in any privacy. There’s an apartment above, and even in the short time we were there, you could hear every single movement—it felt like staying in a house share rather than a proper rental. Everything about this place felt grubby and dirty. I cannot believe they expect to charge £230 for a single SUNDAY night—this place is maybe worth £60–£70 at best. Do not be fooled by the photos; it is nothing like what’s advertised. Avoid at all costs.

Flat is on a busy street full of cafes which is nice. Has a continental feel to it. Parking needs to noted. You can park outside with payment via an app, with a max stay of 4 hours, between 9am - 8pm, but it’s a no return within 4 hours. Nearest parking in the welcome folder was a 15 min walk away. Upon entry, there is a shared hallway which is tired and unloved. I noticed the fire alarm system on the wall had a couple of faults on it, it may need looking at. The flat is secure and decorated well with the space available. A quirky little apartment with a downstairs bedroom and the master bedroom on the main floor. Smelled a little damp and is a little noisy as you can hear the movements from the flat above. Kitchen is very small, suitable for quick easy meals, but doesn’t have enough equipment to make a meal from scratch. The cups and glasses had a smell to them, like they had been put back in the cupboards whilst still wet. The utensils could do with a good clean too. The freezer compartment in the fridge needs to be defrosted asap as you soon won’t be able to close the fridge door. The bathroom is off the kitchen, and the bathroom door needs attention, the inside is peeling and flaked. The beds were comfortable, but only one towel per adult, thankfully we had brought beach towels for the hot tub, would’ve been nice to have hair towels also though. The welcome folder needs updating as there’s duplicate pages in there, and it notes the instructions for the hot tub in the back, however they were missing. We needed help with the hot tub controls, and messaged the owner who was extremely prompt in replying. The hot tub temperature was lovely, but there is only one setting for the tub it seems, which is quite vigorous! We ended up just sitting in the hot tub with no settings, which to be fair was nice.

Super comfortable beds, cute decor

Host only provided 1 towel per person which had to be used for both shower and hot tub. Hot tub wasn’t particularly warm. Place needs a deep clean, smells damp.
