Marske Stables, Yorkshire Dales

Absolutely everything. From our warm welcome to an easy departure it was just the perfect stay. The best I have stayed in for years. And my goodness the beds….. wow! Best nights sleep we have all had in a long time. Very high quality apartments. Super staff. Amazing surroundings. Couldn’t be happier and are looking to book again soon.

The property is situation in such a stunning area. The views all around the beautiful. It was the perfect, relaxing getaway.

The jacuzzi tub was fantastic but after filling it 1/2 way the water went freezing. The shower also showed so much promise but the water pressure was weak and water went cold half through. I may be nitpicking but the the jacuzzi tub was one of the biggest reasons we booked.

Super warm with all the mod-cons, super powerful shower, plus a deep lux bath, linen is soft and new! Mega comfy beds & sofas, WiFi available.

Gorgeous rooms! Modern and homely. Loved the huge corner jacuzzi bath. Extra soft beds and bedding. Lots of space, great for cooking. Cosy and quiet, surrounded by nature. Lovely walks round there and close to Richmond.

We did not use the shower room because there was a strong smell of sulphur/egg which may have been the drains. The hairdryer did not work. The plugs in the sinks don't drain easily so water filled up in the sinks quite easily. The oven was hard to work and the QR code instructions in the booklet are not up to date - it took us to a Bosch manual and the oven is not that brand. The heating/temperature was not easy to understand and change.

Rustic barns

Unfortunately we did not have heating and hot water due to issue with boiler in sea biscuit. Looking at reviews this was not a one off and we were disappointed as we would not expect this.Once we alerted the staff, Caroline was understanding about our concerns and offered us to move to marske house to the Hutton suite. We would not recommend a stay at the seabiscuit due to the problems, however were very grateful that we were offered a solution we were happy with. Hutton suite was really lovely and would recommend.

Rooms very nice, location lovely, staff very helpful to a point.

Stayed for 2 nights & stayed in x3 rooms. Due to CH not working in booked room (Frankel-x2 bed, x2 en suite etc) we were moved (after 4.5hrs) to Warhorse (x1 bed, accessible/disabled room) where we spent first night. We would have remained there if I hadn't called to say this is not the type/size of room I had booked or paid (quite a lot) for. Later on 2nd day afternoon we were eventually moved to Red Rum room which was comparable to Frankel & more in line with what we had booked. I realise they are quite busy at this time of year & these things do happen but feel more could have been done instead of me having to constantly chase up to get things moving. Our few days away were not as relaxing as we envisaged.
