Ibrahim was very responsive and helped us arrive at the houseboat. He gave us great recommendations for things to do around, and even took us to a few places for shopping. He organized Shikara rides not just for us but also our friends. The houseboat is very well located, very clean and beautiful. It is uniquely positioned on a corner, and thus, we had great view from our bedroom. The room was spacious, well-lit and tidy. We would definitely like to stay there when we are back.

The stay in Ibrahim’s house boat was an experience we will never forget. From the beginning on it was very convenient to stay in contact with Ibrahim and plan every step of our journey. Once we arrived we took a little boat to the floating house and were blessed with a stunning view of the Dal lake and the mountains in the background. Ibrahim and his family welcomed us very friendly. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Boat trips, money exchange, included breakfast or home cooked dinner in kashmiri style, everything was taken care of. In the evening Ibrahim told us the history of Kashmir and its people. An arranged boat took us to floating markets giving us the opportunity to see and purchase amazing handmade crafting. Ibrahims care was more than we could hope for. All in all it was a trip and experience we will never forget. Many thanks to Ibrahim and his family.

Excellent location and view to enjoy Dal lake. Charming and clean interior. Nice house made local food available for lunch and dinner (total 2500INR), and they accommodated my preference for quantity and taste. Hot water is usually served for morning, but they could serve in the evening for me. They took good care of me.

They were very concerned about my reputation. I was under pressure. I think it was not necessary since they are good.

I couldn't reccomend this houseboat enough, it exceeded our expectations. The location of the house boat is ideal. A short boat ride of a few minutes away from the main street and included in the price. Most houseboats charge for crossings. It is located at the end of the first row of house boats, giving you a wonderful uninterrupted view of the whole lake from your bedroom. The house boat is surrounded by beautiful waterlilies and looks stunning. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe. Abrahim is a wonderful host, who made our experience in Srinagar memorable. He helped us plan our days and even organised a driver for us for our next leg of our journey to Leh! We really felt at home from the minute we arrived and Abrahim was available whenever we needed him. Breakfast was included, and really set us up for the day. We ate on the houseboat varanda, cooked with Kashmiri love accompanied by Kashmiri tea - another highlight. Thank you for making us feel like family, Abrahim!
