Very close to the Ghat just 2 minutes shikara ride , 24/7 shikara shuttle service to house boat always smiling and ready to pick & drop shikara person , Room service boy IMRAN is extra ordinary, amazed with his helping nature, one suggestion to the owner, room needs a cubord to keep the huge suitcases and clothes to hang .

Had a plesant stay at the Whitehouse House boat. Rooms and facilities were good. Host Mr. Ibrahim was helpful for all arrangements. Would definitely recommend to have the house boat stay experience.

The stay was really great. The people were really helpful and the view from the stay was also great They helped us get a shikara for the ride and they also helped us by suggesting great places in the area for food

Great location. At the end of the first row off the boulevard giving the most expansive abd beautiful view of the lake which no other first row boat can give . Extremely cordial and genuine owner and staff .

One looking for luxe houseboats may get better options though at a premium, this one is decent , lower mid- budget facility . But if affords the luxurious view of the beautiful Dal lake than many other houseboats ..

Location, Food and Shikara Ride with Mr. Ashraf.

Service was very poor, Mr. Ibrahim was very interrogative. Water bottles were not in the house boat room literally we have to inform Mr. Ibrahim that please bring mineral water . We have to ask each and everything like Hot water again and again because Bathroom is almost - 4 Degree Celcius. When you book his house boat, Mr. Ibrahim will eat your head after continously messaging you and regular follow ups which I feel irritated. When we saw his dirty water kettle immediately we informed him to change then at night he changed it and we were polite to him but his attitude towards us isn't good. If you are charging around 5000 rs, you must expect basic things like water bottles in the room, hot water need at the time of minus temperatures, there is no tissue paper, provision of Drinking water, Good hospitality etc. At last - I would not recommend this House boat to all my viewers.

The houseboat was beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of traditional Kashmiri charm and modern comfort. The serene Dal Lake views from the houseboat were absolutely mesmerizing. A special mention goes to Ibrahim, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was always available to assist us with anything we needed, from planning our outings to ensuring we were comfortable at all times. His warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. If you're planning a trip to Srinagar, I highly recommend staying at the White House Group of Houseboats. The service, ambiance, and location make it an excellent choice for a memorable stay.

We booked the White House house boat for one night, but we extended our stay for two more nights. The location is awesome, it gives a beautiful view of dal lake from the room itself. Owner Ibrahim is very cooperative. Shikara is available even late at night. The most important thing is, hot water is available 24 hrs. The room has an air conditioner which keeps us warm at an even 1 degree temperature. The home made food they provide is also awesome.

Excellent, Clean and well maintained house boat. The speciality of the house boat is its location which has a full view of the Dal lake from our room window. Special thanks to the Hospitality provided by Ibrahim Bhai. He took care of us like his family. He helped us in renting bike, Shikhara ride and provided guidance throughout our trip and even before our arrival to Kashmir. We will definitely stay again with them. We are grateful and highly recommended.
