Finest Retreats - Oystercatcher

The location was great, and the place had a nice style and decor. Loved the artwork, little oyster catcher birds, especially the chunky one above the fireplace mantle. The imitation logburner was also pretty in the evenings. Warm powerful shower and the additional products were a nice touch. The bathroom, bedroom, and lounge were clean and tidy. Very spacious apartment, great size, and lovely light coming in!

The kitchen was not so clean. Pots, pans, cutlery, and some glasses needed washing before use, as they were greasy and had food on them. The sofa and bed felt hard and very uncomfortable, where I struggled to sleep and sit comfortably in the evenings. Armchair was softer, however. The front door of the apartment was very hard to open and close. Would have been 10/10, but the kitchen was in need of a deep clean and some new comfortable furniture.

It was a lovely apartment, very nicely decorated and very spacious in lounge/kitchen area and the bedroom. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but was adequate for the amount of time spent in there. The provisions of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, sweets and milk were a very welcome added bonus. The apartment is very well situated for parking, bars, restaurants, shops and harbour. The car park on silver street is not far at all from the apartment and very reasonably priced. If you take your car out for the day, it only costs 50p for the overnight parking and if you download app to your phone it is simple to extend parking by the hour or the day. The bed is very comfortable and also very quiet. We stayed for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if ever re-visiting Whitby. Would highly recommend

Prior to arrival we received full information from the agents 'Finest Retreats', including parking options, which was very helpful. The property itself was exceptional. For the two of us it was more than spacious enough, very well decorated and equipped and spotlessly clean. Things like tea, coffee and milk on arrival was an added bonus. The property was in a great location, set not far up the hill, and in easy walking distance from both the beach and bustling harbour area. We thoroughly enjoyed the Oystercatcher and Whitby. Parking is nearby. I would recommend that visitors download the 'Just Park' app before arrival as I had a little trouble downloading it in the car park. With the app I found it easy to manage our stay, even being able to extend our booking on a daily basis without returning to the car park.

The apartment is in an excellent position, immaculately clean with modern fittings and tasteful furnishings. All the basics were provided: milk, tea, coffee, sugar, s&p and even a selection of snacks and sweets, as well as kitchen and cleaning equipment. We really had a lovely stay. Thank you

We were up set about the price of parking it cost use an extra £63 we were told other had tickets to cover their stay we could not go to far away because had to be back to pay the car every day which was up setting
