ORHO Hotel Boutique Marbella Panama City

I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for the start of my trip in Panama. The room was large, incredibly comfortable, and perfectly quiet - yet the location was great, with plenty of restaurants and everything easily accessible. What really made this place special, though, was the owner. He runs everything with genuine heart and care. He was always around, always helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and well taken care of. From helpful advice to thoughtful little gestures, it was clear he truly cares about his guests :) And as a lovely bonus, his sweet and friendly dog added so much character and warmth to the place & made it feel even more like a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. It’s rare to find a combination of comfort, great location, and heartfelt hospitality like this. A huge thank you for such a beautiful stay!

An outstanding unique and beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and the design feels like in wonderland. There are many art works imported from the East. The staff is very friendly The hotel is located in a safe neighbourhood I highly recommend this hitel

Perfect location, an easy walk to the waterside, close to amenities, restaurants, and public transport. Great ambience, beautiful interior, lots of attention to detail, and everything you could need. Wonderful warm host, lots of excellent recommendations and advice on places to visit, things to do, and good food options, nothing was too much trouble. Staying here really added to my experience of Panama City, it was especially good as a lone female traveller, I felt safe and wonderfully looked after. Thoroughly recommend.

It’s horrible

The owner has really bad temper and attitude, kicks out guests at will, overreacting. I arrived at 5:20pm, a normal checking in time, but there was no one, the door was locked, so I had to wait outside. And I just took 16hours bus, very tired so I messaged the owner, he said 10mins but he was later again so I messaged twice. Then after I checked in, he got really mad out of a sudden and sent me very long messages to accusing me. And saying things like he’s the owner of this property so he can kick anyone out as long as he wants! So I had to leave at 8-9pm and find another hotel. Btw when he was trying to kick me out, he changed my booking to the next year! So when I contacted booking to solve this issue it caused me extra troubles! It’s a really really disgusting and awful experience!

The owner of the hotel was very nice and extremely welcoming. The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel in the city's financial district and very close to the coastal walk/bike path. This is a wonderful location if you are staying a few days to see the city. Safe and close to many cafe's and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again Robert (Michigan USA)

Was hoping for more from this property. Most of the rooms are located at basement level, which is not clear from the pictures. You enter the property at street level and go up 2 stairs to the small lobby. From there it is downstairs to rooms that are below street level. Dark and uninviting. The room upstairs is more cheery, but has a bathroom that is down the hall. Staff could be more friendly and I did not see a single other guest, despite being there in high season. No place to refill water bottles, which I had at all the other places I stayed in Panama and is nice for the environment. Two keychains with 3 keys needed, which is annoying to have to carry. Also location was disappointing. A 20 minute walk to Ave. Argentina, and necessitated crossing several large roads that had no intersections or crosswalks (can be seen if you check on Google maps). And finally, lobby music could be heard in the rooms until 11pm. So overall would not return despite the price. They pay to get their property high in the search list (visibility booster tool), but don't be fooled, keep looking!
