"Great location to see and walk around old Funchal."

Fantastic location. Walked everywhere in Funchal. Car park close which was very secure. Met there by someone which was extremely helpful. Also had help from host getting codes to access which was most welcome.

Had to use door code 3 times to access apartment which could be tricky.

"A spotless apartment in a fantastic location."

The location was excellent and the apartment was spotless.

The apartment needs bedside lights rather than art on the nightstands. The mattress was less comfortable than I expected.

"Pictures are misleading"

The property was clean and the location was convenient for downtown/old town restaurants and shopping

We booked an ocean view studio. The pictures and description are very misleading. Our only view of the ocean was through a bathroom window. It appears there is rooftop access and there wasn’t. The description indicates “the apartment” and there are actually 3. Our view was across a narrow street at another building. We had to keep curtains closed for privacy. Very disappointed. The apartment has 2 kitchen chairs and the bed. You had to view the TV from bed. Pillows were horrid.
