Annie Dee’s Guest Accommodation

Facilities excellent. Had nibbles and breakfast box laid on for us together with milk and butter . Very friendly couple. Great location close enough to Ballygowan to be far enough away. Overlooks an area used for filming game of thrones. Accommodation also has some interesting history attached. Ballygowan itself has a few shops and a pub and a petrol station/spar if you want to travel the mile or so into Ballygowan for provisions.

Easy to find, good location for what we wanted, hosts were very helpful and accommodating Loved our little breakfast that was left Great place will definitely book again soon

Nothing was a great place

Very comfortable. Excellent welcome pack. Good shower, towels etc. Thoughtful touches like USB charging slots in the bedside lamps and plugs on either side of the bed.

I didn't feel very comfortable with the fact that there was an office with a door (locked) off our bedroom. It would have been fine if this office hadn't been used while we were there but the first morning, someone came in and watched TV at around 8.15 in the morning while we were still in bed. I found this a bit intrusive. I called the host who immediately ensured that this room was vacated but the next morning people were in there again, although not till about 10. It's just that this room is right next to the bedroom and I thought this would be a self-contained unit.

We don't like continental breakfast so we brought our own cereal, it would have been better if there had been a cooker, rather than just a hob but we managed. Loved the location, nice and peaceful and quite, hosts are very accommodating and the dogs are lovely and friendly.

No cooker or freezer. One web site stated that there was a cooker and one stated just a hob. You cannot open the window in the bedroom, so on warm evenings it gets quite warm in the bedroom, a fan would have been nice.

Host explained on arrival that breakfast was self service from provided breakfast basket due to short stay there. Anything else we needed would be provided. A true warm Irish welcome. Location was perfect for getting to the event we were going to. Also, we loved hearing the background and story of why it is called Annie Dee's guest accommodation.

Although additional throws were provided if cold, perhaps having an option of a slightly lighter weight throw. As some guests might need a lighter one. But want to add that our excellent host would have provided this if we had asked.

Very welcoming go over and above to make your stay enjoyable nice we touches of essentials and welcome baskets definitely would stay again. Nice location and views are just as good was nice quiet and peaceful break
