Mill Lane Farm Holiday Cottages

Location was perfect. We loved the property, location and surroundings. We liked having animals close by that we could see and engage with. The grounds were also very nice.

I would like to see a nice hut/house with a roof on with plenty of lovely bedding for the donkey living in the field opposite. The donkey took shelter under the trees from the rain and I wonder if the donkey would be happier with somewhere under cover from the rain to hide. I don't think they like the cold or wet. Hopefully the donkey gets to go inside at winter :-) We enjoyed visiting the donkey every day with our young daughter. I also thought it might be nice if there was an opportunity to buy donkey food from the owner/farm (like when you go to children's farms) :-) I think children would enjoy doing that.

Beautiful accommodation. Really clean and had everything we needed and more. Lovely touch with a welcome food box even we arrived. Children especially loved the donkey and horses in the surrounding fields. We also loved the blackberry picking!

Could do with some coat hooks, especially as we were there in wet weather with lots of damp coats.

The cottage is located next to a farm, in a beautiful location. It had all the amenities necessary for our stay: a fully furnished kitchen, bed linen, towels, etc. The cottage was big and comfortable. Our girls loved saying hello to the donkey and the horse every morning. I would highly recommend it!

Everything was perfect!

Loved the cottage and in perfect location in the new forest with horses appearing just outside the gate. The cottage had all the equipment needed. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

The bed mattress could be a little more comfortable but otherwise nothing else wrong about the cottage.

Everything, it felt like a home away from home

One very minor point was the fact that the hoover doesn’t work very well - when we first tried to use the tube was blocked with half a cereal bar but even after unblocking, the suction was very poor.

Location was perfect. Safe enclosed garden for the children. Clean and quiet, walking distance to pub. Not far from the beach, walks and animals

Beds not to personal taste, a little too soft

Great location. Our daughter loved saying hello to the horses and the donkey each morning. Really spacious, everything you need for a great stay. Felt really safe for the 2 young children, loads of car parking, just brilliant

If I was being really critical the bed was a bit too soft for us and could do to be a king as that room was definitely big enough for it. But saying that we slept really well so that’s the main thing
