Pretty appartment close to Oslo

Property was clean and easy to find.

Some of the advertised photos didn’t match reality. For instance the kitchen looked much better in the listing when in fact it was just a single mobile unit from jysk or ikea with tiny electric stove and a mini fridge both of which didn’t work properly. Ok no big deal, what I found disturbing was the fact that neither bathroom nor our room had a key in it. It was definitely a shared accommodation situation because the room in the photos didn’t quite match our room and had windows on the opposite side of it, indicating that there was a separate room on the other side of the basement (it was kind of a basement room not that I’m complaining about it). Having had the ability to lock my room at night would have given me some peace of mind. Oh I could hear every step hosts made above the room, no sound proofing whatsoever just a wooden flooring. When they had an argument I heard that too. House rules were fine just worded in a bit hostile manner. All those little things kind of made me unwelcome. Wouldn’t stay again.

It was well equipped, clean and spacious. A nice older apartment outside the city close to nature.

Everything was fine, one should just know that it is not directly in Asker but two stops by train away from it.

Lovely atmosphere. Comfortable and relaxing. Ideal for my stay. If I come to Oslo again I’ll aim to go back to this apartment.

Can’t think of anything that I didn’t like really. The pillows on the bed could have been bigger

The location was great as we could walk to Vakås train station in less than 10 minutes. That enabled us to travel to wherever we wanted in a reasonably short amount of time. The apartment was really cosy and we liked the temperatures in the respective rooms. The kitchen is well equipped. We would gladly recommend this spot.

There was nothing that we didn't like. It's not a modern place, but that didn't bother us at all.

Cozy & Warm apartment in pleasant area, plus the host was superb. Quick access to Sandvika, Holmen Fjordhotell plus swimming at Holmen and Hvalstrand, nice nice!
