The property was well kept and maintained. Although I can only speak for our cabana #5. There was no hot water, pretty sure the toilet flushed right into the water so we stopped swimming. We were told we could not eat at the restaurant on christmas eve or get room service the property was closed for a private party. Thankfully we had a rental car and were able to drive into town before things closed up. Christmas morning we sat at the restaurant for 15min and waited while another table was greeted and order taken, we were completely ignored, so once again we got up and drove into town. The staff was friendly but the whole vibe seemed outright rude, and we felt like we were intruding. We were appalled with the smug attitude. I paid 3000 for our christmas holiday stay and 2 massages we never received. This place is nice and well kept but way over priced for the service and the attitude we were shown. I highly recommend against this place. It is sad because I chose to spend the extra money for the holiday because the hotel was highly reviewed. Sadly that was not our experience.

Amazing hotel!!! Make sure you take the room on the lagoon. We spent three nights of our honeymoon here. Most beautiful place with very kind people managing it. Also very good food at the restaurant. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful place. They harvest their own crops. So the food is as fresh as can be. Their menu changes according to what is seasonal. The rooms referred to as "cabañas" that face the lagoon are worth every penny. Waking up every morning to paradise is truly priceless. I cant wait to return.
