Olives Bay Terrace in Portofino

Great location and very nicely presented. Big deck to enjoy good on outfoors, if weather permitting. Having a self-contained place with all amenities made life a little more comfortable.

The window in the bedroom is missing the external shutter, meaning light from the many streetlamps below flooded the bedroom and made sleep difficult. The shower is very small.

There was no bottled water and for 2 days while it was raining we could not buy anything from shops as they were mostly closed

Beutiful building. Nice location a bit away from the busy center

The bed smelled of urine (maybe small kids’ accident. The host didn’t Care. We had to put the towels on top of the blankets in order to not be too close to the smell. I asked for new towels, because we used Them as blankets - but the answer was “we do not live i PORTOFINO - and since you check out tomorrow you do not need towels”.

Spacious with all needed facilities (washing machine, iron, cooking hob, etc…)

The owners didn’t provide luggage transportation to the air b&b, unlike other hotels and air b&bs. So we had to take our luggage up a hill ourselves. Secondly, the concierge staff came to check if we left the airb&b before the check out time which was upsetting and we had to explain to them that check out time hadn’t come yet. When told so they remained silent and didn’t bother to even apologise.

Great location in Portofino, great to have access to a washing machine

Extremely expensive for what you get. Oven wasn’t cleaned. Other people’s belongings left in the kitchen. Facilities were very cheap, for example bedside lamps from Temu
