בערב לוקח 6 דקות ללכת ברגל בדרך מאוד חשוכה עם רכבים שעוברים שם.

The hotel is in a great location and it's really idyllic surrounded by nature and the limestone, the rooms along the river are really beautiful we enjoyed having the view every morning. Generally the hotel is pretty clean and well kept. The pool area is nice too. The checkin experience was great, offered some juice and our bags were carried to our room for us. We were also given early check in which was nice. Free use of the bikes is also very welcomed! I understand some people's comments about the bathrooms, but honestly you are in the countryside - its more rustic than perhaps other areas and it's not a huge deal.

Whilst our experience was overall pretty good, the check out experience was terrible. We were charged for a dirty towel (possibly it had makeup on it I think), in the grand scheme of things it wasn't a lot of money the thing that bugged me is giving a guest an invoice without describing what the 'general charge' was for. I had to ask this question and honestly, it just left a bad taste. Towels get dirty, I think washing them will suffice. In addition we booked a transfer with the hotel which was 45 minutes late. Given Hanoi has traffic and sometimes the airport is chaotic, this was super stressful. I know it was not the hotels' fault, but the communication was awful. The receptionist kept telling us 5 minutes 5 minutes. Tell me how 5 minutes twice equates to 45 minutes. Every-time we asked for an update she kept fobbing us off. In addition at one point I asked for our money back as this was unacceptable and we'd get a Grab instead. She conveniently took a very long time to count out the money we had given her walking back and forth to stall time so that the driver could arrive. We then went to get in our taxi and it was unclear if the taxi was genuinely a taxi or not.
