Aplanty Nest amidst the Orchard

Really comfortable and cosy apartment, well set with all amenities. Love all the houseplants. Really unique location among all the apple trees. Would be amazing to see it in full blossom.

Due to the dreadful weather it was very muddy outside so would be good to have an area to remove/clean boots as we are conscious of trying to respectfully keep the apartment as clean as possible.

The decor and feel of nest was nice. The plants gave a natural feel. Modern clean kitchen and bathroom. Quiet location. Very comfy bed. Off road parking.

The only heater is an electric panel heater situated on the wall above your head when you sit on the sofa. It didn't warm us sitting on the sofa as the heat rose upwards. No hot water in the sink in the bathroom. Huge towel rail in the bathroom but not connected to the electric so towels don't dry. Really nice TV with internet connection with Netflix but not connected to an aerial so unable to watch any Freeview channels. Huge muddy puddle right outside front door and it was impossible to enter the nest without covering the floor with mud and nothing in the nest to clean the tiled floor when it was dirty. There is nice roof window that faces the bed but no blind. Come dawn it's very light.

No code to the key box. No light outside, no instructions for the heating. Only had Netflix on the tv

Door lock was difficult to turn

The property was compact but cosy and well equipped and we had all we needed for the short stay.

We had a little problem finding the property but mainly because it was dark and wet and not much light around.

Lovely layout and very quaint....came for family Christmas so rather me and dogs stay in summer house I found this little hideaway which was ideal . Anyone over 5ft 7 just watch your head going up the delightful spiral staircase to bed ..my daughter and I bumped heads a few times on beam 😀...Great for dog walking although bring your boots .quite muddy in places .

Wasn't alot I didn't like as would definitely come again .only thing I think it did need with it being where it it as can be very muddy there was nothing to clean any mud /bits up with..dd take off boots at door and wipe dogs paws as best could but to keep on top.maybe a little mop or dustpan and brush to help keep stay tidy and clean 👌..had to borrow from family (thankfully they lived 5 mins away )
