Location and view was beautiful

Got a short notice text saying that my booking had slipped through on the same day as a wedding was booked for and that I could cancel my first night’s day as it was anticipated the noise would be extremely loud, I felt that my seven-year-old daughter would be too disappointed to cancel and advised that I would continue with my booking but requested a 50% refund of which I was told would be looked into but then never received a response despite me chasing, this was extremely disappointing and I felt that this was not an unreasonable request

The pod was very clean, spacious, and in a lovely rural location close to Hornsea. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had more than enough space for two adults and two children for a one-night stay. Check-in was very easy, with quick key collection and good parking. It felt safe for the children to run around, and communication with the owners was excellent – they were helpful and easy to reach.

Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a wedding at the venue. A large group of guests were gathered on the patio of the main house late into the night, shouting and swearing, which woke the children twice and meant my husband and I barely slept. Although the hosts kindly contacted the guests and the noise reduced, the peaceful, tranquil stay we were hoping for was already spoiled. The grounds immediately around the pods also felt a little unkept and overgrown. A small practical point – a toaster in the kitchen would have been useful

Fantastic view of the fields, comfortable for a couple, very modern equipment. I highly recommend it to hikers!

I do not recommend it for 3 adults because the bedroom is in one room with the living room.

A very nicely designed place with modern amenities with a perfect farm view.

The living room and the bedroom are one room (not separated from each other) The cleaning was not the best, the bathroom was very full of spider webs, the heating could not be regulated and at least 6 big spiders had to be exterminated.

Good price, comfortable bed, clean and tidy, decent shower, lovely spot, shame we didn’t have longer to stay.

As we booked as a family, would have been nice to have the sofa bed made up, a tea and coffee tray, so we could have a drink on arrival would have been nice, also no idea if any staff were on site, no check in, felt a bit weird just rocking into the place and having to ask other guests what the situation was.
