Hotel dan Restoran Seri Kangsar

Right at city centre, convenient for grocery.

Sound proofing of this hotel are nothing, basically like sleeping in the bus stop with Aircond.

The room is quite spacious and comfortable. Air-conditioning in good condition, TV okay & hair dryer available. A water dispenser & iron were provided on every floor.

The toilet smells musty & there is dirt on the wall. The ventilation in the room is poor, there are no windows other than a small window near the door facing the sidewalk. Room lights share the night light. Light penetrates the window at night causing discomfort during sleep. The room lacks privacy (the sound of other occupants' doors is quite disturbing) & there is construction during the day.

This hotel is signposted as the KK Seri Kangsar. The staff weren't terribly friendly & seemed quite surprised by my arrival but checked me in & charged the price as shown on my Booking app. The room was old but well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Wifi was adequate for my needs. There was some traffic noise but it didn't bother me. The hotel is well located in the heart of Kuala Kangsar.

I have deducted points for the rather surly service and the fact that this hotel is vastly overpriced. I have paid the same of slightly less for far superior rooms in nearby cities.

bed sheets and pillowcases are musty

The hotel was clean but the check out time is different from what they stated in the Booking.com.. in Booking.com they stated check out 12.00pm-2.00pm but if u check out after 12.00pm you need to pay RM15 for per hour.. please state the correct check out time in Booking.Com.. Thanks
