Saint Johns Hill Boutique Ephesus

I loved the decor in the room. The room looked better in real life compared to the photos in booking.com The host was very friendly and his shop was lovely. The apartment was very close to the Basilica of St John and Ayasoluk Castle and we walked to the ruins of the Temple of Artemis too. The town with shops and restaurants was a very short walk away Ephesus was a short drive and definitely worth a visit!!

I am a light sleeper and I struggled with the noise of the traffic and some local dogs barking at night. But this was just me as my husband slept very well on both nights!! This is a very small thing but we wanted to cook in the apartment but there no sharp knives. We managed to chop chicken, tomatoes, etc with table knives but it was just messy and chunky :-)

Our little apartment at Saint John Hill Boutique Ephesus was such a nice place to stay: decorated very nicely, super comfortable big bed, and nicely furnished small kitchen. There is even a washing machine, and the owner provides kindly washing powder. The location is excellent, the Saint John’s Basilica is just steps away, and the city center as well. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the friendliness of the owner and his family.

Nothing comes to mind, we liked it.

如果你像我们一样入住在顶层，就知道这个拥有超大露台的民宿多么好。露台也是客厅和厨房，但哪怕是冬季，这里也不冷，我们就在露台吃饭和聊天。露台外，就是罗马废墟，远眺奥斯曼时期的城堡。附近也有很多超市，地点可以说是中心位置。如果你开车，楼下和附近也有停车位。房东非常棒，我们还在他家买了个靠垫。他在楼下有个很好的地毯店。

location is the best in selcuk, right in the city center walking distance to restaurants. it is exactly in front of st john church& the castle. the room is very big for family, clean, and the owner is very helpful during our stay

it is a bit weird that the bathroom door is transparent

The location was exceptional, it was located in the center of Selcuk and very near the strip and the St. John Basilica ruins.

It was perfect for our family, we were traveling with three kids and had two rooms plus the balcony to ourselves. Very nicely renovated and situated just down the hill from St. John’s Basilica, and just a short walk from the Archaeological Museum.

All I can say is WOW! But I'll say a little more, of course. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful, the room/suite was huge (3 bedroom suite), each bedroom with its own bath and air conditioner) and the balcony was superb! Sitting area, kitchen and dining table were on the glorious balcony overlooking the ruins of St. John's basilica. All the furnishings were lovely and thoughtful - not your standard-issue hotel stuff, but unique and beautiful. And what a great value! Also close to the train station, and loads of restaurants and shops.

For us, nothing. But having no elevator could be an issue for some.
